Fractures, or broken bones, are seen occasionally in our pets. Some less complicated fractures can be treated with splints and exercise restriction. However, the vast majority need surgery to repair and stabilize the fracture. This promotes faster healing and a quicker return to normal activity. We have a board-certified surgeon available to perform these repairs or we can refer you to one of the emergency hospitals nearby.
